Ten flashes, all caught.
You forced every mission in today's set. The board goes quiet.
Back to home →How to play
Tap one of your pieces, then a highlighted square. You play the side shown under the board; the defender answers on its own. These are short tactical positions, not full games. Standard rules apply — check, castling, en passant, promotion.
The move limit counts your moves only. A ◆ marks the exact target piece and follows it if it moves. “Capture” means take that marked piece; unless the mission says “Win”, it does not promise net material. A “Win” target is undefended, so it is won outright.
Any move that still forces the mission is accepted. A legal move that throws away the idea is refused so you can try another — nothing is lost. Undo takes back a full move (yours and the reply); Reset restarts the level. Hints give an idea, then the piece, then the move.
Keyboard: Tab to the board, arrow keys to move focus, Enter or Space to select and play, Escape to deselect. U undoes and R resets while the board is focused.
Ten levels a day, rotating through three verified sets (30 positions) by your local date; the cycle repeats every three days. Progress saves on this device when possible. Everything runs offline.

Positions are drawn from the Lichess open puzzle database, dedicated to the public domain under CC0 1.0 Universal (legal text). Individual composers are not credited by the source. No endorsement is implied. Each position applies the source game's setup move(s); levels 1–2 advance further along the source line to isolate a one-move idea.
