How to play & keyboard
Select a piece, then a dotted square. Rooks move any distance straight; bishops move any distance diagonally. Neither can jump pieces or striped walls.
The departure from chess: every move transforms every piece, including those that stayed still. Letters A, B and C never change. Get them all onto their matching homes, in either form. Homes do not lock pieces.
No captures, opponents, check or special chess moves. Minimums are optional; any legal solution counts. Undo and reset are unlimited.
Tab to the board, use arrow keys to explore squares and Enter or Space to select or move. Escape clears selection. U undoes; R resets. Each square announces its piece, home and legal state.
